The President of the Learning Disabilities Society of Nigeria delivered a welcoming address at the International Day of the African Child commemoration, themed "Education for All Children in Africa: The Time is Now." Emphasizing the vital role of education in unlocking potential and fostering development, the President called for a commitment to quality education for all African children, including those with disabilities. The address highlighted the transformative power of inclusive education and the importance of equal opportunities for every child in Africa.

REPORT OF LDSN CAREER DAY CELEBRATION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ADVOCACY FOR PERSONS WITH ALBINISM NETWORK (APAN)

The Learning Disabilities Society of Nigeria (LDSN) celebrated Career Day with the Advocacy for Persons with Albinism Network (APAN) on June 14, 2024, in Akwa Ibom State. Over 200 attendees enjoyed a vibrant career parade, drama presentations, fun activities, and dancing displays. Learners embodied roles such as lawyers, nurses, pilots, and more. The event concluded with a panel discussion, exhibitions, and group photos. Special thanks to the LDSN President, Vice President, volunteers, staff, and guests for their support.
