The Learning Disabilities Society of Nigeria celebrated its 4th anniversary on December 8th, 2023. The event was well-attended by dignitaries, members of the Civil Society Organizations, Schools, and well-wishers. The event was organized to mark the organization's four years of existence and included fundraising, cutting of the anniversary cake, fundraising, and awards. The highlight of the event was the presentation of the proposed permanent residence for LDSN learners and the need for an 18-seater bus as a means of transportation for learners.

Read MoreOn March 14, 2024, the Learning Disabilities Society of Nigeria (LDSN) held a Safe-Guarding training session led by Mr. Promise Unwene, the Vice President of LDSN. The training covered topics such as understanding safeguarding, types of abuse, creating a supportive environment, staff responsibilities, recognizing abuse, and setting protocols. All LDSN staff attended, and Mrs. Ekaette Okpon gave a vote of thanks, followed by a group photograph.
